  • Lean Optimization:
  • Lead efforts to optimize the manufacturing value stream, including production planning, scheduling, and resource allocation, to meet production targets and customer demands efficiently.
  • Process Improvement:
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement within the value stream, implement lean manufacturing principles, and drive initiatives to enhance productivity, reduce waste, and streamline operations.
  • Quality Assurance:
  • Collaborate with quality assurance teams to establish and maintain rigorous quality standards throughout the value stream, ensuring compliance with industry regulations and customer requirements.
  • Cost Management:
  • Work closely with finance and procurement teams to manage costs effectively, identify cost-saving opportunities, and optimize resource utilization within the value stream.
  • Team Leadership:
  • Provide strong leadership to the value stream team, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement. Mentor and develop team members to enhance their skills and capabilities.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration:
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, supply chain, and logistics, to ensure seamless integration of processes and alignment of objectives across the value stream.
  • Performance Monitoring:
  • Develop and implement key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor the performance of the value stream, analyze data to identify trends and areas for improvement, and take proactive measures to address any deviations from targets.
  • Risk Management:
  • Identify potential risks and disruptions to the value stream operation, develop mitigation strategies, and implement contingency plans to minimize impact on production and delivery schedules.

Qualificationsarrow_right

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing Management, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.
  • Proven experience in manufacturing operations management
  • Strong understanding of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Demonstrated leadership abilities, with experience in leading cross-functional teams and driving change initiatives.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex data and make data-driven decisions.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Experience in the implementation of ERP systems and proficiency in relevant software applications.
  • Certifications in lean manufacturing or Six Sigma would be advantageous.
  • Communication & Collaboration: Communicates clearly and concisely, while serving as a sparring partner to internal/external stakeholders. Fosters teamwork between employees and across the organization.
