As a Freudenberg Corporate IT employee, you will help innovate, design and implement this leading Cloud HCM solution for our corporate organization.

Cloud HCM System Architect (m/w/d)
Employment location anywhere in Germany

Your tasks

You will work in a Workday implementation team that was launched in Q1 2019 and is implementing a global, Cloud-based HR platform for the Freudenberg Group. The platform will integrate distributed HR and non-HR systems and you will be responsible for it. The job requires a large amount of personal initiative, motivation and openness to cooperation in an international setting.

As HCM System Architect, you will be responsible for implementing the interface and integrating scenarios between the new Cloud-based Freudenberg HCM Suite and upstream and downstream systems (e.g. Payroll, Active Directory, SAP ERP...).

  • Conception and implementation of the architecture and integration scenarios between the new Cloud-based HCM Suite from Freudenberg and other HR / non-HR systems (e.g. Payroll, Active Directory, ERP...)
  • Cooperation with Freudenberg Business Groups in all technological aspects of interfaces and integration scenarios in a Workday environment
  • Management of integration projects with third-party suppliers (e.g. SAP, ADP...)
  • Responsibility for assisting and monitoring interfaces including error detection and correction
  • Documentation of implemented target architecture and integration scenarios in close cooperation with IT partners and Business Groups
  • Technical support for cybersecurity system and interface audits (e.g. penetration testing) in close cooperation with the Information Security Officer
  • Partial management of Cloud platform integration projects

Our expectations

  • A degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics or Industrial Engineering
  • Proven expertise with Cloud platform integration, ideally using Workday or SAP Success Factors
  • Practical experience and expertise with web services (SOA, REST, etc.), programming experience with XML, XSLT as well as API knowledge of an object-oriented programming language (ideally Java)
  • Experience with Authentication processes (SAML, OAUTH, etc.)
  • Enthusiasm for implementing technologically sophisticated integrations
  • Customer focus and strong communication skills
  • Good English skills
