Seal Repair Technician

Your tasks

Job Responsibilities:

  • Perform Mechanical Seal service and repair activities in the Service Center to meet safety, quality, delivery, and cost objectives
  • Work from assembly drawings and/or customer specifications to accurately repair and assemble seals according to EBI procedure
  • Preparation and processing of:
  • Seal repairs and assembly
  • Seal Repair Observation Reports
  • Seal component inspections
  • Inventory staging and control
  • Shipping/ Receiving process and documentation
  • Material handling
  • Maintain and organize documentation
  • Provide afterhours response as needed for customer requirements
  • Maintain safe, clean, and organized work areas
  • Maintain shop equipment and machinery in safe and working condition
  • Able to read mechanical and technical drawings
  • Able to use measuring instruments to inspect seals parts against dimensional drawings
  • Must read and follow all EBI policies, procedures, including the Employee ,manual, Quality System and HSE policies
  • Perform other general duties as required

  • Customer satisfaction interpreted utilizing management observation and customer feedback forms

Continuous improvement in the reduction of NCRs and CPARSs

Our expectations

  • Associates or equivalent
  • 2 years' service center experience or related position
  • Able to work unsupervised
  • Familiarity with machining and precision assembly processes
  • Strong mechanical aptitude
  • Problem Solving aptitude
  • Ability to lift up to 50lbs frequently
  • Computer application skills in MS Office products ( Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Team player with excellent interpersonal and communication skills
