Director Finance & Administration (M/F/D)

Your tasks

As Director of Finance and Administration you are the business partner for the senior leadership team. You will ensure that management and operational policies and procedures are in place and aligned with Freudenberg standards. As a hands-on and participative manager and will support the following areas: finance, business planning and budgeting, human resources, administration, customer service and IT

Your responsibilities:

  • Establish, implement and ensure internal controls, policies and procedures, administrative and IT systems to ensure that the organization’s day-to-day operational activities are efficient and effective, and are in-line with approved strategic initiatives and budgets by the Capol Executive Board
  • Take the lead on financial accounting and reporting
  • Coordinate audits and work with internal teams to meet operating goals
  • Ensure collection of accounts receivables and ensure proper credit limits and payment terms are in place
  • Manage the annual planning cycle (Operative Planning, Forecasting)
  • Report on a monthly basis to the Executive Committee of Capol Group
  • Present and produce Board reports and financial information timeously
  • Conduct ad hoc analysis for senior management and shareholders
  • Further develop CAPOL’s human resources tools and processes
  • Coordinate local IT requirements with internal and external service provider
  • Manage the North American Customer Experience Team

Our expectations

  • At least 5 years relevant experience in an accountancy role
  • Work experience of private sector food, chemical or pharmaceutical industry are an advantage
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment is a must
  • Knowledge in preparation of fiscal year statement
  • Ability to translate financial concepts to – and to effectively collaborate with -- colleagues who do not necessarily have finance backgrounds
  • Relevant experience in internal control systems and compliance management
  • Competent in information technology skills
  • Excellent communication skills both written and oral and good interpersonal skills
  • Ability to handle complex issues and problem solving skills which support and enable sound decision making
  • Supervisory and management skills
  • A multitasker with the ability to wear many hats in a fast-paced environment
  • Personal qualities of integrity, credibility, and dedication to the mission of Capol Group
  • English and French speaking
