Your tasks

Oversee  the smooth implementation and start of production of new implemented IM (injection molding) technology; direct the effective administration, direction, and coordination of department personnel, equipment, and materials as defined by key measures, including scrap analysis, return goods, labor variance, labor efficiency, and production schedule goals; oversee the facilitation of the implementation of Lean Systems consistent with Best Practice and Model Cell objectives; oversee the provision of technical training and coordination of personnel for optimal technical issue resolution and task completion to manufacture a world class product to maintain and increase industry market share; manage the use of corporate continual improvement methods to ensure most efficient layout of cell through trouble-free operations and optimization of cell procedures and product flow; coordinate the investigation and review of all quality information from various sources, as well as the coordination and dissemination of this information to appropriate personnel, through documentation and visual controls to achieve scrap reduction and variance elimination; utilize cold runner technology, design of tooling for injection technology, Cryo de-flashing of manufactured parts, extrusion process on the rubicon, Injection Molding technology, Lean Systems tools, FQA, 3P, SMED, TPM, Standard Work and international standards AS9100 and ISO9000 to perform duties; oversee the dissemination of corporate “Lean Philosophies,” including one-piece/heat flow, setting and monitoring standard work in process, dedicating labor and equipment, production smoothing, and 5s principles; manage production schedules to ensure they are met through effective planning of manpower, equipment, and materials; support the coordination with functional areas, including Quality, Manufacturing, Process Engineering, and all suppliers and customers to resolve quality issues in order to effectively meet goals; oversee the establishment and maintenance of overall area programs for safety, compliance with OSHA regulations, hazardous material regulatory compliance, housekeeping, and preventive maintenance; and oversee the promotion of corporate GROTTH and CVF activities.

Our expectations

 

Education:

Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or in a related field of study (will accept equivalent foreign degree);

Training:  None;

Experience: Two (2) years in the position above, as a Process Engineer, or in a related occupation.

Other Requirements: Experience must include two (2) years of all the following: cold runner technology, design of tooling for injection technology, Cryo de-flashing of manufactured parts, extrusion process on the rubicon, Injection Molding technology, Lean Systems tools, FQA, 3P, SMED, TPM, Standard Work and international standards AS9100 and ISO9000.

Will also accept any suitable combination of education, training, and/or experience.
