Your tasks

  • Develop and review actual performance against the integrated operational plans for the facilities, both short and long range, based on strategic and operational objectives, and provide reliable and relevant information to management as a basis for decision making. Such information includes but is not limited to manpower, facilities and equipment, material resources, cash and capital requirements, inventory levels, expense budgets, sales and earnings, return on investment.
  • Consistently analyze financial data and present financial reports in an accurate and timely manner; clearly communicating monthly, quarterly, and annual financial results; preparing and presenting to the site VP&GM suggestions on how and what needs to be changed in order to meet monthly and yearly financial targets.
  • Identify opportunities to drive cost reduction across all business (materials, labor, variable & fixed expenses, capital and inventory). Apply improvements to reporting and analysis and create new metrics as needed.
  • Participate and contribute as a member of the FM MIS US leadership team with decision making, policy development, business planning, and plant functions or presentations. Communicate insights and make recommendations in support of budget, strategic planning and forecasting processes.
  • Become a business partner supporting VP&GM and Division Controller in reaching profit targets. Preparing financial analysis as needed to support business objectives.
  • Partner with Leadership and Operations regarding key accounting, analysis and reporting to ensure an appropriate level of analysis and understanding of manufacturing costs.
  • Oversee a timely and high-quality monthly financial close, monthly forecast and reporting process, ensuring financial results are presented accurately and meet all compliance standards including US GAAP.
  • Facilitate and lead the annual business planning (AOP) process. Prepare annual cost plan, setting work center rates for inventory valuation and standard product cost. Ensure standard costs are accurate and overhead allocation methodologies support the business structure.
  • Lead Financial team to drive continuous improvement in all areas of the FM MIS US business including building out the yearly AOP financial planning model, Pricing models, Budgeting/Forecasting, supporting technology initiatives to drive accurate and efficient SAP utilization, Portfolio analysis, management reporting and other ad hoc analyses as the organization grows.
  • Preparation of appropriation requests (AR) and analysis while maintaining internal controls in accordance with Company policy.
  • Coordinate physical inventories. Motivate team and support inventory cycle count for inventory accuracy.
  • Guide financial decisions by establishing, monitoring and enforcing financial policies and procedures.
  • Develop training needs plan of finance staff and insuring their implementation. 
  • Participate in and support lean/continuous improvement and safety initiatives.

Our expectations


  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting or Finance. CPA a plus.  MBA is a plus.
  • Manufacturing/Cost Accounting experience.


Required Experience:

  • 10+ years of relevant Accounting experience in a multi-site environment.
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment with costing.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of GAAP / IFRS and financial reporting matters
  • Ability to work independently, in a team environment under pressure with tight deadlines and handle multiple/detail-oriented tasks
  • Extremely organized and able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously ensuring business deadlines and demands are met in a timely manner.
  • Deadline driven and can develop relationships with all levels of the organization to manage a complex facility with dynamic manufacturing product lines.
  • Effectively and proactively communicates essential information with all levels of the organization.
  • Must understand accounting and financial principles as applied to manufacturing absorption, manufacturing variances and cost accounting.
  • Experience with ERP Systems. Able to implement and utilize SAP in a functional and strategic capacity.
  • Adept at analyzing and interpreting data to establish performance indicators and areas for continuous improvement.
  • Desire to formulate and drive process improvements.
