Human Resources Manager

Your tasks

Plan, direct, manage and implement the various services, policies and programs of the Human Resources department, from evaluating recruitment, interviewing and hiring processes, to overseeing the compensation and benefits program, generating a strategic plan for staff development, performance management, training, and employee relationships. Also, maintain the pulse in employee and union relations, as well as ensuring that practices comply with state and federal regulations.


• Responsible for ensuring compliance with Headcount's budget

• Manage the budget of HR as an area and training and activities for staff

• KPI's: HC, rotation, absenteeism, training plan advancement, overtime


o Payroll - weekly and fourteenth payroll, settlements, overtime, variable compensation, extraordinary payments, bonds, holiday premium, aguinaldo, PTU, pantry vouchers, gasoline vouchers

o Personnel management - staff vacations, entry and exit passes, disciplinary action

o Expenses - area, training, staff activities

o  In conjunction with Directorate-General and Finance Directorate, trade union agreements (review of wages and benefits, equals, etc.)


Office work that serves all employees at all levels of the organization, both unionized and trusted. National and international trips to attend casualty processes, training courses, presentations, etc. Drive together and presentations for staff. Participate in Business Review with Houston Corporate. Functional report to Houston-based Regional Human Resources Manager; participates in HR meetings of the Freudenberg Group; these last two activities, entirely in English.

Main functions of the position

Compensation and Benefits:

  • Analyze, manage and modify compensation and benefit policies/plans to establish competitive programs and ensure compliance with legal requirements.
  • Manage the process of evaluating, sorting and evaluating all jobs.
  • Perform compensation analysis for candidates and make economic offers for the candidate selected as a finalist.
  • Manage and coordinate the process of retirements, withdrawals and pensions.
  • Manage and manage, through the selected Broker, everything related to Major Medical Expense Insurance and Life Insurance. 

Talent Attraction

  • Manager   and coordinate recruitment and selection processes for all positions, ensuring consistent and transparent process, as well as implementing strategies to attract the talent required for the organization 
  • Be contact with employment agencies and/or Head-hunters for vacancy coverage and manage activities related to them.
  • Effectively manage and coordinate the recruitment    and onboarding process of staff.
  • Ensure that all employment contracts are issued and updated in accordance with state and federal regulations.
  • Ensure that all employees have an up-to-date Job Description and that it meets company standards and requirements.
  • Manage the program of fellows and promote initiatives to recruit students according to the needs of each area.

Training and Development

  • Develop and execute learning and development strategies to ensure employee professional growth.
  • Conduct annual or biennial labor climate surveys to measure the level of employee satisfaction, motivation and commitment to the organization and results, generate action plans for improvement or maintenance.
  • Implement staff recognition initiatives and programs.
  • Plan and direct the induction of new employees to foster a positive attitude towards the organization's initiatives.
  • Implement and secure that the annual design evaluation process is successfully completed and documented, including the analysis of annual wage reviews, if applicable.
  • Provides guidance and coaching to staff to improve performance or resolve conflicts where appropriate.
  • Ensure employees have an individual development plan.
  • Implement succession and career plans for key positions.
  • Identify under-performing talents and/or staff and establish action plans in each case, as applicable.
  • Analyze training needs to design a training plan that includes gentle skills, techniques, and health and safety programs, as applicable.
  • Manage the Freudenberg Group LMS (Learning Management System). 
  • Implement and coordinate projects and events to improve the climate and organizational culture.
  • Perform and keep company organization charts up to date.

Personnel Management

  • Serve as a liaison between the ERencias sand employees by handling questions, interpreting and managing policies and helping to solve work-related problems.
  • Conducts exit interviews to ensure understanding of waiver processes and thus mitigate potential problems or concerns associated with separation.
  • Manage disciplinary actions, giving advice and recommendations in order to improve performance or execute the termination of the employment relationship.
  • To carry out the relationship with the Union ensuring effective and transparent communication.
  • Lead the annual union negotiation looking for the best options for the company and employees.


  • Ensure that all new employee documents, as well as highs and low benefits, are completed and archived for all staff.
  • Validate that the weekly and fourteenth payroll is correct and complies with state and federal laws. 
  • Validate whether the income tax (ISR) calculation, INFONAVIT and FONACOT credits, and employer-worker fees (IMSS) is correct and complies with state and federal laws.
  • Ensure that worker-employer (IMSS), INFONAVIT and FONACOT payments are made in a timely way.
  • Validate and ensure that they are calculated correctly: Settlements and settlements, overtime, variable compensation, extraordinary payments, bonds, holiday premium, aguinaldo, PTU, pantry vouchers, gasoline vouchers.


  • Administer, together with the Payroll Specialist, the surveillance and dining service.
  • Manage the cleaning service.

Internal Communication

  • Establish formal means of internal communication and ensure that information is transmitted correctly.


  • Provide current and future employees with information on policies, labor obligations, working conditions, wages and promotional opportunities and benefits.
  • Ensure the monthly update of KPI's Human Resources to communicate them to Senior Management and take corrective or containment measures as needed.
  • Manages the consistent and transparent implementation of Human Resources policies and processes.
