Managing Director FFT Mexico & Director of Sales

Your tasks

  • Coordination and organization of all activities of the business according to and in agreement with the NALT.
  • Local facilitator of cross-functional interactions and initiatives in alignment with NALT.
  • Entrepreneurial leadership of the business according to Key Performance Indicators, business goals and strategy goals.
  • Assist in development and execution of business plans.
  • Continuous development and improvement of all activities in market segments and product fields in IF Mexico.
  • Coordination and organization of all plans, activities and tasks of Industrial Filtration division in Mexico to execute IF divisional and regional strategy.
  • Leadership and development of the Mexican Industrial Filtration team.
  • Coordination and organization of all activities AF division in Mexico.
  • Representation of the business interests to customers, suppliers, government and business partner.
  • Continuous improvement of existing and new processes to enhance effectivity and cost effectiveness.
  • Compliance with the business principles and the guiding principles of the group and FFT.

It is expected that this position dedicate 50% of his or her time to IF as Director of Sales, 40% as MD of the entity and 10% to AF.

Work place is the company location in Silao, GTO. Regular business trips to other locations of the group and customers are required in Mexico as well as to USA.

Our expectations

Education: Graduate or master certificate in technical or business qualification ideally additional training in the other area of expertise. Knowledge of strategical management.

Work experience: Minimum 5 years leadership in a sales position with staff responsibility, overall more experience also in other functions.

The candidate should have worked in industrial goods industry and automobile industry. He/she should had responsibility in selling of technical products.

 

Other requirements: The candidate should be an entrepreneur by heart. Adherence to our Guiding Principles and our compliance rules are expected. Excellent skills in building and developing networks and contacts. As a Director, he/she needs a high degree in flexibility and spontaneity to react to customer requirements. Additional he has to understand and to improve business processes and operational sequences.

Mexican native preferred. If non-native then a long tenure in region and familiarity with behaviour and culture is required.

  • Thinking, action and personality should meet exactly the requirements of Director with general management responsibility
  • Knows Mexican mentality and behaviour well
  • Very good social competence
  • Good experience in leadership of teams, also in a matrix / network organization
  • Work experience in a management position in Mexico.
  • Ability to strategic and conceptional work as well as self-contained operative work.
  • The candidate should have good communication and negotiation skills, should have a good knowledge in moderation and presentation and has to have organisational talent.
  • IT know how in MS-Office are assumed.
  • Spanish fluent. English fluent.
