Financial Analyst

Your tasks


The Financial Analyst will assist with overall accounting responsibilities for the Company under the guidance of the Corporate Controller in Houston Texas.  The Financial Analyst is responsible for assisting in month-end close activities, general ledger postings, P&L and Balance Sheet analysis, budgeting and forecasting at the site as well as at Corporate.   

The Financial Analyst will provide useful insights and meaningful financial analysis to make better, fact-based decisions and contribute to the effective strategic and tactical management of the company.

  • Prepares journal entries and assist in month-end close process.
  • Product margin, backlog and inventory review.
  • Prepare balance sheet account reconciliations.
  • Assist in preparation of monthly financial analysis and management reporting.
  • Assist in budgeting and Annual Operating Plan.
  • Support external and internal financial audit processes and assist in documentation and monitoring of internal controls.
  • Maintains documentation for compliance to policies and procedures for external and internal audits.
  • Assist with special projects as required by plant controllers and corporate accounting.
  • Special projects as dictated by Corporate Controller and CFO.  

Our expectations


  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and/or Finance or similar discipline; 2-4 years related experience and/or training in manufacturing environment; or equivalent combination of education and experience. CPA is a plus.
  • Experience with SAP, Microsoft Office with advanced Excel skills.
  • Ability to work cooperatively and collaboratively with all levels of employees, management, and external agencies to maximize performance, creativity, problem solving, and results.
  • Self-starter.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Very detailed, attention to accuracy, and deadline driven.
  • Must be well organized and detail oriented and good at prioritizing.
