Director Finance and Administration (m/f/d)

Responsibilitiesarrow_right

  • Finance, Accounting and Internal Controls
  • Responsible of Financial Statements: Profit and Loss Statement and Balance Sheet.
  • Responsible of the full accounting cycle and month-end reporting procedures
  • Manage receivables and payables
  • Devise and maintain financial systems, procedures and internal controls
  • Compliance and risk management
  • Liaise with external advisers – accountants, lawyers, and other advisers
  • Coordinate audits and work with internal teams to meet operating goals
  • Manage treasury
  • Manage and evaluate intercompany transfer prices
  • Cost accounting
  • Working Capital management: Inventories, Receivables and Payables
  • Main contact person with the Finance & Accounting Shared Service Center
  • Preparation of emoloyee’s payroll in cooperation with external provider
  • Financial Analysis and Planning
  • Manage the annual planning cycle and monthly forecasting
  • Perform monthly financial analysis and present to the CAPOL Group.
  • Explain P&L variances versus Last year and plan.
  • Present and produce Ad Hoc analysis and reports presented to the Board of directors of the CAPOL Group
  • Plan and monitor investments and undertake / coordinate investment appraisalsĀ 
  • Administration
  • Ensure legal compliance
  • Manage communications and requirements with CNESST, RQ, CRA and many others
  • Manage contracted services
  • Participate in managing insurance coverage
  • Contract management
  • Information Technology
  • Coordinate with internal and external service provider
  • IT operation is handled by the FCS IT HUB.

Qualificationsarrow_right

  • CPA certification preferred.
  • University degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
  • Fluent in French and English.
  • Proven leadership experience in finance and administration.
  • Strong controlling knowledge and experience working in international teams.
  • Hands-on approach with a focus on teamwork and collaboration.
