Operator

Responsibilitiesarrow_right

  • Operators prepare machines for operation, load machines with material, enter data into machine’s computer controls, inspect and monitor machine and adjust different inputs, pressures and speeds to maintain quality.
  • Operators monitor and record product and material types, temperatures, speeds, pressures, quantity counts and quality checking materials and products. Quality checks include preparing product samples, weighing samples, measuring widths and thickness and evaluating visual appearance of products.
  • Machine Operators also perform housekeeping and work area organization duties and any required duties directed by supervisor or management.
  • Production operators are required to lift up to 50lbs.
  • They will also be required to bend, stretch, push, carry heavy objects and stand for long periods of time.
  • Some job areas require frequently climbing/descending stairs and mounting/dismounting forklift.

Qualificationsarrow_right

  • High School diploma or equivalent is required, must be able to read, write and comprehend English and possess good communication skills.
