Marketing Specialist

Responsibilitiesarrow_right

  • Contributing to entire corporate and marketing (print, online, trade shows, PR) across all business activities and market segments
  • Initiation, design and implementation of promotional marketing activities
  • Close day-to-day interaction and collaboration with sales and applications engineering teams
  • Manage the distribution of point of sales literature and promotional materials, including printing, electronic distribution, and maintaining inventory and access to printed materials
  • In collaboration with sales and market segment teams, manage advertising campaigns, contracts and placements
  • Coordination and support for various conferences, expositions, tradeshows, and customer events, including trade show booths, literature, details and logistics
  • Compile and analyze market information, provide market intelligence to regional team as well as to Headquarters, screen new business ideas
  • Prepare slide presentations to correspond with speeches and discussions
  • Manage North American content for the global Product Information Management System (PIM)
  • Management of external suppliers
  • Day to day interaction with VP Marketing & Communication/ Sales Excellence Americas
  • Regular interaction with FFT Headquarters in Germany and Freudenberg NA Corporate Center
  • Assist in other sales, marketing and customer related projects as needed
  • Develop, plan, and implement digital marketing campaigns, lead nurturing and management processes, and social media campaigns on platforms such as LinkedIn
  • Develop and create marketing processes to foster a lean business environment
  • Travel required (typically less than 25% but may occasionally be more)

Qualificationsarrow_right

  • BA degree in Marketing, Advertising, Journalism or equivalent preferred; or Associates degreeĀ plus five years of relevant professional experience, preferably with industrial products
  • Experience working with commercial printers, graphic designers and advertising agencies
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office package
  • Preferably working knowledge of graphic designing software
  • Preferably knowledge of TYPO3 content management system
  • First experience with Digital Marketing platforms such as HubSpot
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Creative self-starter with high team orientation
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to effectively manage multiple projects; ability to work with minimal supervision
  • Able to work as an individual contributor as well as a team member
