You support our team as

Head of Product Marketing

Responsibilitiesarrow_right

  • Identify and support achievement of new profitable business, RoS and revenue targets in close coordination with internal and external management
  • Direct and manage project and application roadmap development from beginning to end in cooperation with cross-functional teams. Explore new markets.
  • Understand relevant North American market in strategic segments/applications.
  • Define project scope, goals and deliverables that support business goals in collaboration with senior management.
  • Effectively communicate project expectations to team members and management in a timely and clear fashion.
  • Identify and resolve issues and conflicts within the project teams.
  • Plan and schedule project timelines and milestones using appropriate tools.
  • Coach, mentor, motivate and supervise project team members and contractors, and influence them to take positive action and accountability for their assigned work.
  • Develop best practices and tools for project execution and management.
  • Determines costs of products for incoming quote requests, and current products as requested
  • Calculate price based on existing cost structures, support implementing new and competitive pricing strategies
  • Review all requests for each project and set priority (criteria: Importance of customer, annual volume, target prices, timing)
  • Understands, reviews drawings and other industry related documents; draws conclusions
  • Define requests with special designs/materials in cooperation with Technical Department concerning new articles and/or production processes of O-Ring products.
  • Modify and maintain reporting tools to create market picture, create new reports for new markets
  • Collect and evaluate competitor information, build / maintain competitor database
  • Drive part based analysis (e.g. Histories using internal and external tools)
  • Support use and continuous improvement of existing Pricing Tools
  • Input of all needed parameters into pricing tool (material, design, production process) if needed: cooperation with Technical Department
  • Supports APQP Project Teams to define, establish and ensure completion of all program milestones and adherence to timelines and budgets, driving them to meet revenue goals and other performance metrics.
  • Works with internal and external customers to support business objectives for new programs, assists departments with business case preparation, strategic and tactical planning as necessary.
  • Analyzes and resolves escalated project issues that have the potential to jeopardize the ability to meet agreed upon deliverables. Ensures conflicts are resolved within customer required timing.
  • Manages company and customer expectations on all program requirements and deliverables.
  • Verifies engineering outputs for product costing meet strategic objectives and cost targets.

Qualificationsarrow_right

  • Excellent communication skills
  • Bachelor’s Degree required, MBA a plus
  • Preferred areas of study: Business, Marketing, Accounting, Finance, Engineering
  • Demonstrated proficiency using MS Office products
  • Highly proficient using Microsoft Excel (e.g. set up formulas, Pivot tables, formatting)
  • Due Diligence (accuracy, predictability, traceability)
  • Demonstrated proficiency using Microsoft Dynamics (CRM)
  • SAP (BI) experience a plus
  • Proficiency in data analysis and calculations and reporting
  • Proficiency in reading product drawings and specifications in related
  • Verifies engineering outputs for product costing meet strategic objectives and cost targets. Ensures Team Feasibility is completed prior to costing.
  • Ability to implement short and long term program objectives and monitor effectiveness, striving for continuous program improvement.
  • Exceptional understanding and mastery of business drivers of program, proactive in optimizing business results.
