Sr. Product Development Engineer - Inhealth Technologies

Responsibilitiesarrow_right

  • Leads product development projects
  • Creates and maintains Design Controls documentation in accordance with established regulatory requirements and SOPs
  • Interacts with patients or physicians and applies empathy to identify novel solutions to unmet clinical needs
  • Generates CAD models/drawings based on theoretical concepts and builds prototype devices
  • Leads Design Verification activities and coordinates testing with external partners
  • Identifies & manages suppliers in the context of product development activities
  • Selects materials for prototypes and finished medical devices
  • Supports regulatory audits & compliance activities
  • Serves as a mentor for junior level engineers and as an expert in Product Development

Qualificationsarrow_right

  • 5-8 yrs of Medical Device design & development experience
  • Bachelor of Science in Mechanical, Biomedical Engineering, or related discipline
  • Advanced degree preferred
  • 21CFR Part 820.30 Design Controls, ISO 13485, ISO 14971 and ISO 10993
  • 3D solid modelling (e.g., SolidWorks or related software)
  • Design for manufacturability
  • Leadership skills
  • Strong communication & interpersonal skills
  • Strong mechanical, analytical & problem-solving skills
  • Hands-on experience with machining and 3D prototyping methods preferred
  • Ability to be grow and develop professionally into a leadership role
