The Manager of Financial Planning & Analysis and Reporting is the North American lead in Planning and Analysis supporting the Company’s needs and initiatives.  In addition, the position is the US and Canada country lead in all General Accounting activities including the month and year end close process and all Internal and External reporting requirements and initiatives.  The role will adhere to the  Company standards for safety, clean environment, quality, productivity and meeting customer requirements.

Your Tasks

  • NA Lead in the Annual Operative Planning Process
  • NA Lead and assist in Financial and Business Analysis in support of the FFT Divisions
  • US and Canada lead in all daily General Accounting activities and initiatives and adherence to all IFRS and GAAP accounting requirements
  • US and Canada lead month end and year end closing process
  • US and Canada lead and assist in the management of the Company’s Balance Sheet and Working Capital
  • US and Canada lead in all external statutory reporting requirements such as Governmental, Taxes and Insurance
  • US and Canada lead in all external reporting requirements to Freudenberg entities
  • US and Canada lead in all internal reporting requirements
  • US and Canada lead in the annual Audit process
  • Assist as a backup for other Shared Service functions
  • Proactively identify, support and coordinate reporting and process automation opportunities
  • Develop proficiency in SAP to become a site systems leader

Our expectations


  • Bachelor degree in Finance/Accounting or equivalent required
  • CPA or CMA designation preferred but not required
  • Prior experience in manufacturing environment is required

Knowledge / Experience

  • Proficiency in computer and related software programs (SAP, MS Office tools)
  • Minimum 10 years of hands-on experience in Accounting or Finance in a manufacturing environment
  • Experience in participating and/or managing multiple on-going projects individually or with other team members
